About Me
I’m David — a brand designer turned service designer creating people-centred experiences and designs to change and empower businesses for the future.
I'm currently en-route towards achieving a Master's Degree in Service Design from London's Royal College of Art. This study, coupled with my academic training in Visual Communications with a specialisation in Brand and Strategy, has immensely contributed to my comprehension of the key elements that formulate effective solutions that interweave visual appeal with impact.
Over the years, I’ve collaborated with startups, established companies, and entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life through thoughtful design solutions. I believe great design goes beyond aesthetics—it solves problems, simplifies complexity, and delivers meaningful experiences.
I thrive on challenges and the exciting journey of personal and professional growth. Since 2015, I've immersed myself in a variety of roles across different industries, giving me countless opportunities to step into leadership positions from a young age to now.
My journey began as a youth leader, where I led engaging weekly discussions that honed my team dynamics and communication skills. From there, I dove into event planning committees and eventually became a Senior Officer in the Singapore Police Force in my first full-time job from 2021-2023.
Most recently, I proudly led a kitchen program in 2023-2024. I flourish in dynamic environments that encourage me to learn and grow, continuously seeking to sharpen my skills and adapt to new challenges along the way.
